Golf Cart/UTV Rules
as of 7/12/2019
- Golf carts shall only be operated by drivers with a valid driver’s license.
- Golf carts shall only be operated by drivers that are not a current 4-H member.
- Golf carts shall only be operated by drivers that are 19 years of age or older as of July 1 of the Fair year.
- Golf carts must be insured as required by the State of Indiana.
- A copy of proof of insurance must be provided with registration.
- All approved operators of the registrant’s golf cart must be listed on the registration form.
- Golf carts shall only travel on approved fairground roads.
- Golf carts shall only park at campsites and where marked on the grounds.
- “Golf carts” shall be defined pursuant to Title 9, Section 2-69.7 of the Indiana Code.
- Golf carts may not travel more than 15 miles per hour.
- Golf carts shall only be operated during daylight hours.
- Golf cart operators shall obey all traffic laws and equipment regulations as enacted and hereafter executed by the State of Indiana. To the extent of this ordinance, allowed under I.C.9-21-1-3.3, is in conflict with Indiana law, Indiana law shall control.
- The operation of the golf cart / UTV must also adhere to the requirements of the Town of Reynolds if operated on the Town’s streets.
- All golf carts must display their registration card at all times during the fair.
- Any violation of these rules and/or lack of registration will result in loss of golf cart privileges.
- All decisions made by law enforcement and the White County Ag. Association are final.
